The Waiting

Waiting for the contractor to finish installing new flooring in the dining room/ kitchen area as the kitchen has been off limits all morning. He seems like an alright guy. There have been your typical, awkward, short exchanges, one concerning his past employment. He is one of four people in the entire nation to do something I didn’t understand. Not that it was over my head but we were in two separate rooms and my hearing aint so great, so, much of what he was saying, I COULDN’T UNDERSTAND. Just a slice of cheese and Coke Zero would do wonders. That’s all Ive got before the big weekend.
